It seems somebody involved with the competition knows a thing or two about marketing. For the longest time, the pageant tried to be about dignity, grace, and philanthropy, but now they’re promoting it for what it is—a chance for Americans to gawk at women.

I believe it all started after the Carrie Prejean controversy. As soon as the organization saw the kind of sorely needed publicity her photo scandal brought to the show, they ran with it. Now they’re basically creating their own naughty pictures and using them to promote the show!

So when does the show start? Well, it all kicks off tonight at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Vegas at 7PM EST. Tonight’s event will be hosted by Curtis Stone, Natalie Morales, Chet Buchanen, and Kristen Dalton. The contest will be judges by a handful of well known celebs, including Paula Deen, Malania Trump, and Carmelo Anthony.

It should be a wild, memorable ride. Who will have their dreams come true and move on with a shot at becoming Miss Universe?
